When Mary started her physiotherapist journey in hospital in 2007, she immediately realised assisting people through their rehabilitation would be her lifelong goal.

Exercise rehabilitation through Pilates, GYROTONIC EXPANSION SYSTEM®, Schroth therapy are her main interests (well, we all know women…)

Mary never teaches any exercise unless she herself understands it completely and being able to perform it accurately. She can relate to all the struggles people going through rehabilitation from her previous10-year working experience in hospital.

Bonnie started off her professional career as a physiotherapist in private hospitals since 2010, that later she became leading physiotherapist in paediatrics and woman’s health at the Hong Kong Sanatorium and Hosptial.

She has become a polestar certified Pilates instructor since 2017 and began using it to treat clients with varies physical dysfunctions. After giving birth of her two sons and suffered from a pregnancy related pelvic pain, she further affirms that the important of exercises, esp. Pilates, can help to set one pain free and improve quality of life.

: good rehabilitation involves the healing process of all body, mind and spirit hence a holistic care of a patient is the key

: a good recovery should get beyond simply fixing one’s  injured body part but instead, acquiring a relearning of movements of the whole body in order to allow one to reach his/hers maximum potential of physical fitness, and therefore future injuries can be prevented - as we achieve a good grounding in the phrase of pre-habilitation.

“Happiness lies first of all in health”

Annie is not a “traditional” Pilates teacher who comes from strong sports related background. She has been working as an administrator for many years, and from that she spent hours and hours hunching over a desk and computer- this common yet harming posture provided her with shoulder pain, kyphosis and low back pain.

It is often said that pain is a great motivator, and to Annie, this is obviously the case! When her shoulders hurt so much that she could hardly lift her arms and the pain starts to affect her daily lives, she was fortunate enough to come across Pilates. Ever since Annie started practicing Pilates regularly, her body has completely changed. She even believes that Pilates has changed her life. This is the reason why she decided to take Pilates instructor as her future career direction.

Thanks to her past physical problems and the history of her successfully getting rid of her pain through Pilates, she is a life demonstration of how Pilates is a perfect form of exercise for the general public. She believe that people from all ages and from different backgrounds are all able to obtain benefits from Pilates.

Sammi, is a Pilates, swimming, gymnastics, dancing, spinning, snowboarding Lover. Swimming has been her favourite sports before she was introduced to Pilates. She started practising Pilates and soon found that this system not only has given her a healthier body and mind, it also provides a better posture and even greater energy levels for her day to day work. In the past, she only believed swimming was the only safe sports but now she became a disciple of Pilates and firmly believes it is the safest activity for all ages. She is looking forward to sharing this wonderful experience of her with everybody, young and old, athletes or non-athletes. It would make her happy if she could help her clients feel the same way.
